Parc Récréoforestier Saint-Mathieu-du-Parc

Parc Récréoforestier Saint-Mathieu-du-Parc is open year-round and offers free access to a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, trail running, snowshoeing, rock climbing, and mountain biking.
The Lanaudière–Mauricie section of the Sentier National du Québec crosses the area over more than 35 km, from Saint-Gabriel-de-Brandon to the Saint-Maurice River. Within the recreational forest park, a 15 km trail network offers loop options with several scenic viewpoints.
Another 15 km of enduro-style mountain bike trails have been developed by the Vélo de Montagne Mauricie club.
A climbing wall certified by the FQME (Fédération québécoise de la montagne et de l’escalade) is also accessible less than 2 km from the main parking lot.
